We are so excited to announce that DGL was named the NW Ohio Concrete Engineer of the Year at the 2018 NW Ohio Concrete Seminar yesterday afternoon. This annual event attracts engineers, designers and other industry experts across the region. The award recognizes and honors the designers whose project exhibits the high value and benefits that concrete pavement offers its owners.

DGL’s traffic counting services provides a foundation of our private development, safety and transportation planning. Understanding existing traffic is crucial to developing a design that improves efficiencies of transportation operations. Precision in traffic data collection is important to sufficiently plan for roadway and bridge design. We have earned a reputation for accuracy and delivery with the Ohio Department of Transportation, numerous municipalities, as well as private sector clients.

The Dedication of the Anthony Wayne Trail Gateway Project was on Thursday, October 18th. DGL’s Laurie Adams attended the celebration of the recently completed project at the intersection of the Anthony Wayne Trail, Erie Street and Lafayette Street in downtown Toledo. The entrance into downtown was redesigned to look more welcoming to visitors.

The Ohio Department of Transportation won an award for the Diverging Diamond Interchange for Operations Excellence in the Small Category at the fourth and final regional America’s Transportation Awards competition.

Summer fun and celebration!!!

Anthony Wayne Local Schools completed multiple projects on campus this summer, including building expansions and parking lot renovations. With the anticipation of the improvements, DGL performed a Traffic Impact Study.

DGL attended the ribbon cutting for the new Carlson Library Pedestrian Bridge at The University of Toledo today. The original Carlson Library Bridge was proven too narrow for the amount of daily traffic as well as needing updating. DGL was involved in all aspects of this project, from the preliminary phase through construction and performed bridge inspections on the previous bridge since 2011.
