DGL’s Independence Office Hosts CST Exam with NSPS

Every day, survey crews perform their work with precision, integrity, and an unwavering attention to detail. These skilled technicians play a critical role in ensuring the success of projects across the fields of engineering and construction, making their role invaluable.

In partnership with the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS), DGL was honored to host a Certified Survey Technician (CST) examination at our Independence, Ohio office. The CST program offers a rigorous certification process that accepts technicians who are committed, to refine their craft and build their expertise. These certifications provide surveyors with a meaningful credential that highlights their technical knowledge and practical skills, opening doors for advancement within the profession. At the event, exams for CST Levels I through III were administered, providing opportunities for everyone from entry level technicians to party chiefs.

Jerry Curry, P.S., DGL’s Independence Office Survey Manager had this to say about the event:

At DGL we’re extremely proud to support the career growth and credentialling of not only the fifteen survey technicians we proudly employ throughout the state of Ohio, but of all survey technicians that represent the backbone of the surveying profession. With the support of NSPS, offering this exam was a small gesture of gratitude to the community of highly skilled and hard-working surveying technicians that licensed professionals put their trust in every day.

We are grateful to the dedicated survey technicians who invested their time to study for this examination and brought their best effort to the final test. The dedication of all attendees exemplified a commitment to excellence that strengthens our field. We extend our thanks to NSPS for its ongoing contributions to the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, supporting initiatives like these that promote skill development and recognize professional achievement.
