DGL's 2023 - Year In Review

It’s been a big year for DGL and the industry as a whole! We are excited to share a few of our accomplishments over the past 12 months, as we move into 2024.

Team Size:

Over the past year, we’ve welcomed many valuable additions to the DGL team – including Engineers, Surveyors, and Construction Inspectors. We’re excited to have grown our team during a period with such a competitive job market and we think it’s proof of the DGL Difference.

 
 

New Licensures:

As part of DGL’s professional development program we always encourage employees in the pursuit of additional licensures and certifications. In the past year, members of the DGL team have earned several Professional Engineer (PE) & Professional Surveyor (PS) licenses in states neighboring our current territory – including Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Additionally, employees have earned Engineering Intern (EI) Certificates, a Roadway Safety Professional, Level 1 (RSP1) Certificate, and we have added two FAA Certified Drone Pilots.

 
 

New Offices:

In 2023 we expanded to the East along Lake Erie, not just once, but twice! We opened offices in Port Clinton and Independence. Both offices have already been working hard to help local community members, build new partnerships in the region, and attract new project teammates. New Partners:

It has been an eventful year for DGL’s ownership group as we continue to execute our succession plan and are proud to say we have four new partners who each bring their unique skills to the table. Read more about our new partners.

 
 

2023 has been a great year for DGL and we like to take the time to look back on the past 12 months to better understand where we are going.  Our successes this year have put us in a good position to continue to grow and better serve the communities we are happy to be a part of. As we put 2023 in our rear-view mirror, we see another successful year ahead of us.
