A message from DGL Consulting Engineers regarding COVID 19

On behalf of the entire DGL leadership team, we first want to extend our appreciation to our top-notch teams and clients for your resilience during the COVID 19 pandemic.

DGL has been working to stay on top of the quickly changing COVID 19 situation to ensure the safety of our teams, as well as the successful delivery of our projects. As a professional engineering firm, it is our duty to hold paramount the safety, health and welfare of the public and we take that canon seriously. We support and are in compliance with the Governor of Ohio’s order. The responses to the COVID 19 pandemic continue to change and present new challenges. We will remain very flexible in our approach to completing projects while preserving the safety of our teams and clients.

At the onset of the COVID 19 situation, we adjusted operations to allow staff who can work from home to do so and ensure a safe working environment without jeopardizing deadlines. DGL is considered an essential business supporting critical infrastructure and professional services and continues to provide engineering, survey and construction administration and inspection services, following the most current CDC guidelines.

We continue to actively communicate with project stakeholders and closely monitor projects for potential impacts and interruptions. We also use digital tools for real-time coordination and communication with our staff, clients, subconsultants and other business partners to prevent or lessen adverse impacts that may occur.

We know there are challenges ahead, but believe our flexible approach and the ability to provide services remotely will help us endure those challenges. Again, we are committed to the safety, health and welfare of the public and will do all we can to help reduce the risks associated with COVID 19.

Most sincerely,

Laurie Adams and Ahmed Hamid
