Engineers Without Borders now has a Toledo/Northwest Ohio chapter!

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) has started a Toledo/Northwest Ohio chapter. The mission of EWB is to build a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs. Potential projects include water supply, civil works, sanitation, agriculture, energy and structures. These projects are community driven which means that EWB professionals work with the community to not only design a functional project to meet their needs, but also to assist in the fundraising, construction and ultimately the maintenance of the new infrastructure.

New members are always welcome...EWB is constantly looking to diversify. The organization requires experts in varying engineering disciplines in addition to individuals with expertise in health & safety, language/communications, business relations, marketing, and more. Individuals from all backgrounds are welcome, strongly encouraged and critical to running successful projects.

If you would like more information on EWB, please contact DGL’s Kyle Layton, PE (klayton@dgl-ltd). He is not only passionate about EWB’s mission, but is heavily involved with moving this chapter forward!
