The Toledo Zoo is consistently ranked in the top 10 zoos in the US and is one of the most complete zoos in the world. The Museum of Science is one of the zoo’s treasured attractions. The museum renovation and design was challenged by space limitations and significant elevation differences surrounding the building. DGL teamed with the contractor and Turner Concrete Products to develop a RediRock retaining wall system. The decorative wall served as a solution to the elevation issues and space challenges. The wall, along with improved fencing and LED safety lighting, provides a safe and appealing experience for both zoo patrons and staff.
