This project consisted of improving Shawnee and Wildflower Drives for their entire lengths. Improvements included reconstructing the roadway by use of FDR. The improved roadways maintained their current alignments and cross-section. Minor width improvements were made around curves. Traffic control improvements includes pavement markings and new signage.

The scope for this project was divided into three phases. The first phase (Project Scoping) consisted of activities in preparation of grant application submission (i.e. field review to define work items, budgetary cost estimating and preparation of Issue 1 grant application), the second phase (Design) consisted of completion of construction documents and details (including field survey), assembly of bid documents and specifications, assisted with advertising, reviewed bids and recommended award. The third phase (Construction Administration) began after award of construction and included shop drawing review, a pre-construction meeting, limited field review, pay request and change order reviews as well as final closeout.

Project highlights included grant application preparation and submission; scheduled and led project meetings; monitored overall project budget, balanced unforeseen conditions with available funds and construction services.
