DGL was responsible for performing civil engineering and survey related activities associated with BGSU parking lot designs of three different sites, one of which was the first BGSU lot to utilize LED lighting. The asphalt paved, and concrete curbed lots also included handicap parking, water quality storm structures, security cameras and LED lighting. Project specifications, bid documents, advertising and construction oversight/administration were included work items. Coordination between BGSU and the City of Bowling Green was required as one lot shared ownership. The compressed design schedule was achieved and below the engineer’s estimate.
