DGL Consulting Engineers Opens Office in Dublin, Ohio

DGL Consulting Engineers, LLC has expanded its operations to Dublin, Ohio. The new office is located at 545 Metro Place South | Suite 100 in Dublin. (Our updated Dublin, Ohio office address is 5940 Venture Drive Suite D, Dublin, OH 43017)

DGL, an ODOT certified DBE & SBE firm and Ohio Turnpike certified LDBE & SBE firm, specializes in all facets of the civil and structural engineering industry. We are organized in the following, distinct service niches: Transportation, Traffic / Safety, Facility / Site Development, Construction Services, Survey, as well as Parks and Recreation. The firm is co-owned by Laurie Adams, Ahmed Hamid, Rick McGuckin, Scot Morehouse, Josh O’Neil, Bob Bailey, RJ Lumbrezer and Ron Guiliani.

The new office, led by Mark Smith, PS, will provide planning, surveying, transportation, civil and structural engineering, as well as construction services. Mark resided in the Central Ohio area for 5 years prior to becoming a resident of the Marysville area for the past 20 years. Mark has been involved with different organizations throughout the area and has extensive surveying experience throughout Central Ohio.

“Being a long-time resident of Central Ohio, I am excited to lead DGL’s efforts into expanding our services into this area”, Smith says. “With the rapidly developing community, I believe we can make a strong impact immediately upon opening.”

“After becoming a certified ODOT DBE and SBE firm, we noticed an increase in requests for our services from municipalities as well as opportunities to team with other firms”, Laurie Adams, DGL Managing Principal stated. “Expanding into the Dublin area offers us the chance to better our relationships with existing partners and create new relationships with firms and communities we haven’t served before.”

Ahmed Hamid, Principal, noted, “We are very excited about the expansion and we are looking forward to being part of the Dublin community.”

The firm’s Central Ohio portfolio includes projects in Franklin County, Union County, Logan County and Licking County. DGL has held numerous statewide contracts with ODOT that have allowed us to provide services in Central Ohio. Additionally, DGL partners with multiple firms from the area and looks forward to the opportunity to build on those existing relationships and create new partnerships with additional firms.
